The ingredients of traditional artificial stone are usually pressed and synthesized by organic adhesives (the main component is resin glue, etc.), and its advantages are very obvious:

1. The higher the resin content, the better the bending resistance, just like acrylic, the bending is not easy to break, not easy to break;

2. Improve the permeability (light transmittance) of the product, such as the transmission effect of artificial jade commonly found on the market;

3. Improve the density of the product, lower water absorption and stronger sealing;

4. Improve the processability of the material, easier to process, and can also be made thinner and lighter;

5. The more resin components, the easier it is to mix a variety of exaggerated decors, with a plastic texture;

6. Traditional artificial stone often uses organic pigments and ornaments to mix decors, organic pigments usually have high coloring strength, particles are easy to grind and disperse, not easy to precipitate, easy to mix colorful colors, and the color is saturated and bright, very eye-catching.

However, the problem of using organic adhesives is also prominent:

1. The more organic binder content, the more like plastic, the more the texture is like plastic, and the natural texture of the stone is lost;

2. The easier it is to soften and expand after heating, the phenomenon of thermal expansion and contraction of the material is obvious, the frost resistance and heat resistance are reduced, and when the product is applied to the ground, it is easy to drum and crack due to changes in the environment;

3. The more organic binder content, the easier it is to burn at high temperature, the fire resistance level is reduced, the safety factor is reduced, and harmful unpleasant odors are emitted, which will bring great harm in the event of fire;

4. The higher the resin content, the less the raw material content, resulting in lower hardness of the product, a decrease in wear resistance, and a shorter time for the mirror effect to be maintained;

5. The water absorption rate is too low, so that the water vapor cannot be diverged from the bottom, and it collects at the bottom of the stone, and it is easy to start lesions from the inside of the stone;

6. Organic pigments have poor sun resistance, heat resistance and weather resistance, and it is easy to fade overall or partially fade after a period of time, especially in outdoor fading obviously, organic pigments (pigments) are also lacking in safety and environmental protection.

7. In order to reduce costs and fight price wars, individual manufacturers use inferior adhesives and inferior ingredients, and the products barely meet or even meet national safety standards, which poses a certain safety hazard to the environment and the health of users.
